CMHR Excellence Award
The Chief Ministers Human Resource Excellence Award is an annual award program organized by the Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC).
This award recognizes the achievements in the area of Human Resource Development of Malaysias homegrown companies. It examines how an organization enables employees to develop and utilize their full potential, aligned with the organizations objectives. Also examined are the organizations efforts to build and maintain a work environment and an employee support climate conducive to performance excellence, full participation, and personal and organizational growth.
The objectives of the Award are to:
Three (3) winners from each award category shall be selected from amongst the nominations received. The assessment is based on the companys commitment to training and development of its workforce.

Terms Of Participation
The annual award program is open to all manufacturing companies operating in Sabah.
Definition of Manufacturing
It is defined as the making, altering, blending, ornamenting, finishing or otherwise treating or adapting any article or substance with a view to its use, sale, transport, delivery or disposal and includes the assembly of parts and ship repairing but shall not include any activity normally associated with retail or wholesale trade.

To be eligible, a company
If a company is found to have not fulfilled the above terms, it can be disqualified automatically without prior notice.
How To Participate
Submission can be made by completing an Eligibility Determination Form and when eligibility is confirmed, the Participation Form.
The Participation Form must be submitted together with relevant supporting documents.
All Eligibilty Determination Form with supporting documents must be submitted on or before 15 March 2002 to:
