LEAN MANUFACTURING OPERATION FOR BUSINESS COMPETITION
Introduction As Malaysia is currently developing rapidly towards globalization and facing fierce from other developing countries, we have to be fully equip ourselves with relevant Manufacturing Practices to improve our business position. This program is designed to develop a full view of Manufacturing so that it covers the necessary activities to support a very lean and effective Manufacturing Operation. In this aspects, we will achieve the basic business performance indices such as Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale through a proper implementation of well planned activities in our organization. This program
will be conducted with practical examples and also provide the basic concepts
to all participants is generic and can be applied to all types of industries.
As the title suggested, the ultimate aim of the program to provide participants
a platform of activities to achieve a very lean manufacturing environment
and thereby bring the organization to a better level of competition in
their business Course Duration 2 Days. Objectives This training session intends to expose all participants to the following concepts and applied them at appropriate situations.
Training Methodology This session will be conducted in workshop manner. Real examples from the participant lines will be used as case study and applied as working examples. Apart from the workshop, this program will have lectures and group study. Video show on "World Class" practices will be shown during the training session. Resource Person Mr. Sim Lam Thong has a bachelor degree in Mathematics/Physics and has more than 14 years of vigorous involvement in TQC/TPM activities, problem solving and Management training. He is specialized in quality, TWC, SPC, productivity and TPM training/consultants, Industrial Statistical Application and Design of Experiments Training and implementation.
