- Teacher shows pictures about a flash flood on a power point slides presentation.
- Teacher asks each group to brainstorm and write down as many points or ideas as they could from the pictures for about 10 minutes.
- Teacher asks representative from each group to present the outcome of their discussion.

- Teacher asks students some wh-questions:
- What do you think of the possible causes of the flash flood?
- What would happen to people affected by floods?

- Students answer the wh-questions by stating their own opinion and ideas.

Closure

- Teacher gets feedback from students what they learn from the brainstorming technique.
- Teacher tells students the rules they need to follow during brainstorming.

- Students give feedback what they think they learnt from brainstorming technique.
- Students listen to the rules on what to do during brainstorming.
