Thousands of teachers want to be transferred

Deputy Education Minister, Datuk Mary Yap Kain Ching said that a total of RM2.7million was approved by the government. Mary also said that the Ministry of Education has set up a committee to handle the issue of transfer requests from teachers. "The teachers' welfare is our priority. We take it seriously and all of their requests are being looked into".
